Hello and welcome. I am a teacher of the sciences at Morgan. This year my duties include 8th grade physical science, 7th grade earth science, and 6th grade general science. Students are expected to keep a lab notebook (ie 3 ring binder) for class. The science notebooks can be kept in the classroom. Students may remove the notebook to be brought home for inspection anytime (students know it is OK to take them from the classroom, just bring them back each day). Lessons generally run a week each, labs making up a good portion of each lesson. The classes are inquiry based hands on style learning opportunities. Ask your student to see their notebook, as it will (should) include a copy of classroom expectations, course syllabus, grading procedures, safety agreement, as well as classroom lesson work.
To view daily activities for any class, select the appropirate Fusion class page (upper right side of this page) and visit the calendar.
